Excel or Word files slowly or don’t open from Engagement

Issue

An Excel or Word file from Engagement opens slowly, or not at all.

Save before beginning
Test after each section

1. If there are Excel links in the Word file, open the Excel workpaper first.
    
2.  If there are messages when opening Excel files that are linked to a Word document, fix the issue underlying the Excel messages before opening Word.
