  • Add files into Document  

  • Move the Task to the appropriate status 

 

How do I save the sorting and filtering options in My View and My Search? 

  • Set your preferred options under the Filter or Sort options. 

 

What rolls over from last years task? 

  • Only budgets automatically roll-over from last year, but you will be able to copy most items from last year’s task to the current years task. 

  • Need KB to link, haven’t found/made it yet. 

  

How do the Statuses from workstream compare with workflow?

Where do I make Comments/Notes? 

  • Need to make a comment about the task? Put that in the Points section! 

  • Need to give instructions for assembly or shipping? Put it under the Shipping or Assembly sections! 

  • For example: If we are filing the Federal and State separately, that should be in the points section. 

  • If we're holding the task back for any reason, such as to wait for related entities or for payment, this should be noted in the Assembly Section. 

  

The Task doesn’t have the workpapers linked! 

  • Please allow up to 4 hours for files uploaded to Document to sync to the task. 

 

The Client information was updated on the Client Profile but its not updated in Workflow? 

  • Please allow up to 4 hours for changes made in Client Profiles/Manager to sync into Workflow 

 

  

Team Lead Specific 

 

How do I see my team in Scheduler? 

  • Color Tax Teams are shown as Departments in Workflow.  

  • This means when you want to search / filter by someone's team, you should use the Department field. 

 

  

Admin Specific 

  

How do I manually roll-over tasks? 

  • KB video 

  • Manually rolling a task will not create a duplicate if the task auto-rolls/recurs at a later date. 

 

How do I delete a Task? 

 

How do I remove a deliverable from a task? 

  • Open the task and Press the Recycle Bin next to the deliverable. 

  • Note: Certain deliverables cannot be deleted from a task. For Example A client has a task type of 1120 S Corp with 1120s and TMT deliverables. That task type has a default deliverable of an 1120S, and so that deliverable cannot be deleted, but the TMT can, because its not a default. The same rule applies for Federal and General Deliverables.
